ABOUT THE PROJECT
Students arrive at school with a small breakfast and our long term goal has been to provide a meal for them. We are now launching our first fund drive to be able to offer a meals for the entire year to come.
Logistically this has been a long process – in fall of 2015 we installed a toilet (outhouse) – and in the fall of 2016 we just recently installed a water line (with special funding from the Peters family). Now that we have sanitation and water – we can finally anticipate feeding these hungry mouths!
The nourishment fund will help towards establishing a kitchen area, equipping the school with bowls and utensils, employing a cook and additional resources to secure the effort, and purchasing bulk food.

Providing for this cause has changed my life! I sincerely feel as if my donations to such a poverty stricken community that is effected by climate change, disease, expanding population, and limited rangeland for feeding cattle helps to balance out my modern day footprint.

Volunteer programs are currently being established. They will all be state-side and we plan to do a combination of fund-raisers, gathering of school supplies and backpacks, as well as outreach programs to local elementary schools to teach global compassion.
